In between packing moving boxes and training for tomorrow's Leprechaun Chase, Dan and Steph carved out time for some engagement portraits. These crazy love birds are planning a 4th of July weekend wedding—and yours truly gets to capture it all!
Talk about the coziest of cozy fall days!? What goes better with cooler temps and fall leaves than your sweetheart on your arm? :) Can't wait for these two to tie the knot next June!
Leigh, Jared, and I welcomed one of the first officially "cooler" days of fall with an engagement session in celebration of their upcoming July wedding. It may very well be 100+ degrees the next time I have these two in front of my lens, but it'll still be a walk in the park as Leigh's feathers are impressively slow to ruffle. Not only was it pretty darn chilly out during yesterday's session, but we walked a million miles (and Leigh did it all in heels!), and—sadly, we eventually lost the balloons we were so excited to shoot with. (Surprisingly, even weighing them down with a hand-weight wasn't enough to overpower the wind.) Thankfully, we managed to work the balloons in early on....
Can't wait for their big day—working with these two is such a breeze! ;)
A lovely day for a lovely couple! I'm so stoked for Hayley and Andrew's wedding next June... (hint: dueling pianists at the reception!) Can't wait!
These two are tying the knot it just over a month! We shot their engagement session just three days ago... one step closer to their big day. Can't wait guys!
What a fantastic setting! This family owned property on a private late not only provided a picturesque backdrop for Erin & Dusty's engagement photos, but is also slated to be the venue for their wedding day celebration come next June. It's going to be photolicious, to say the least!

I met Nicole a few years back while shooting her sorority head shot. Her mom called a few weeks ago, bubbling with excitement over Ted's plans to propose. We made plans for an engagement shoot as soon as the expected ring made its appearance, and we were just in time as these two are packing up and moving to Connecticut any day now! The adventure begins! :)
Eighty acres! Say what?! These two love birds are planning their dream house on a whopping eighty acres of heaven a few miles north of town. Right now the property is filled with rolling hills, a pond, Karen's dad's fishing boat, and a tree swing carved with "Karen & Jason: Happily Ever After." (Obviously made with love.) I almost burst into tears when Karen told me how her parents surprised them with the swing. (I'm a sucker for sentimental things like that. When I moved to LA a billion years ago, my dad gave me a jar of dirt from my parents' yard with a label that said "You're Always Close to Home." Talk about a tear jerker!)
I can't wait to meet the rest of their families when their big day arrives in just a couple months!
There's nothing quite like a short engagement to get your heart racing! These two have been engaged for just 2 weeks, and are deep in the middle of making wedding plans for this August. The kicker? Two days later they'll jet off to San Diego where Jason will be starting law school. They are jumping in with both feet, for sure! :) Best wishes for you both!
