A little lovin’ in St. Louis! These two young love birds picked me up at the airport on Monday for a whirlwind photo shoot that took us all over the city. What a blast! With so many great images to choose from, picking faves for the blog was no easy feat! Looking forward to July you two! xoxo!
Emir and I were watching the UNL band exhibition sometime back in late 2009 (?) when a smiling young gal tapped me on the shoulder and excitedly asked, “Are you—KaBloom?”
Mindy kept in touch and was quick to let me know she and Brett were now officially engaged. In anticipation of their wedding next June, we got together for a love shoot, just she, Brett, our classic tandeem, and—some holi color imported from India.
After taking the tandem for a spin, it was time to get messy!

Is it April yet? These two lovebirds are tying the knot next spring, and I’m looking forward to being there to capture it! (ps: Mallory wove that gorgeous scarf herself. Wow… not only are my clients gorgeous, but oh so talented too!)

Well, it’s not every shoot that inspires such unsolicited commentary from passersby, including a demonstrably curious man on a 4-wheeler and some kids eager to help with marital advice. But then again—not everyone is Lindsey + Jason. Everyone seems drawn to this couple for one reason or another, and really… how could you not be?
Jason has this great grin than makes everyone around him smile…. love that!

Laura + Greg are just too cute. They live in downtown Chicago and happened to be in Lincoln to catch the start of football season (Go Big Red!). So in a whirlwind weekend of family, friends, and football—they made some time to squeeze in an engagement session. And what a session it was! I am totally psyched to work with them (and meet their families!) on their wedding day in Chicago next July… let the countdown begin!
I **love** the takeaways from yesterday’s love hoot with Sarah + Darren! Even though it was hot (and I was a sweaty sweat ball), they managed to look perfectly cool and for some reason, I felt like I could smell fall… just around the corner. Yummmmmm….
