Robin Gifford from Springboard called me to set up a shoot for her girls. We spent one (long- but fun!) day shooting. I haven’t even had time to go through all the shots yet… but these were some that caught my eye.

Special thanks to the guys at Midwest Steel Co. for helping us out with this one… (we really had to twist their arms…. ha! Yeah right!)

Can I just say that I LOVE this! Getting a background to go ‘white’ like this is an artform all of its own. (Not to mention rawkin’ the subtle reflection, the wind, and seamless integration between the floor board and back drop. Phew!) I must say… this image makes me proud. :) (disclaimer: of course it’s helpful to have such a gorgeous subject…. if this was a photo of a greasy tire wrench, I don’t know if it would have the same effect… ha ha ha!)

Is it just me, or does this shot remind you of the ol’ Estee Lauder print ads for “Pleasures” perfume?

I love shooting with parking meters…. they’re so…. happy! (Except for when ignoring them scores you tickets….)

Miranda could turn it on for the camera like you wouldn’t believe. Bring it!

While shooting for Springboard on Monday, we happened upon Rick and his hot dog stand at the corner of 11th & O Streets. He totally hooked us up with a dog (and all the works!) and even posed for a few shots!

He’s there M-F this summer…. be sure to stop by, have lunch, and tell him we said ‘hello!’

You may remember the post a short while ago about my super cute hat that I picked up from Emmy & Ivy. These two ladies are the creative geniuses behind all the super cute things in the shop. Not only are they gorgeous… they’re smart, talented… and a lot of fun!

Mary and her daughter are buds. They like to hang out downtown sipping coffee and catching up. Recently, Mary asked me for a ‘just because’ shoot, and I was happy to oblige! I love what we captured! Spending time with ‘mom’ is always the best!

This past summer I shot Kinsley’s senior photos. She came back for more… and this time, she brought her two sisters along for a Mother’s Day surprise!

I think the girls were more surprised than anyone when the weather went crazy… wind and rain galore! It couldn’t stop us from getting some ice cream though. :)
